posted 6 years agoHi poke951, AdBlock is supported by donations from happy users. We encourage payment because it ensures that we can continue doing the work we love. If you choose to support us, you can pay whatever amount you feel is fair. If you're not happy with AdBlock, you can get a full refund for up to 60 days. If you prefer not to pay anything, it’s no problem, just close the payment tab. If you are suddenly seeing ads, you are likely encountering a recent issue related to being unsubscribed to our primary filter list, EasyList. To enable EasyList, please click the AdBlock button in the browser toolbar and click on the gear symbol. On the Filter lists tab, select "EasyList". Refresh the page(s) where you are seeing ads. This should resolve this issue but please reach out to us at help@getadblock.com if the problem persists. --AdBlock Support

- Rated 1 out of 5by 720Florian, a month agoIt advertises that ads on Twitch are blocked, but that's not the case. And you can't really report when something isn't working. I find alternatives like Ublock better.

Ad Block became the very thing it sought to destroy.

- Rated 2 out of 5by mixlix, 3 months agoFor years AdBlock the free version worked very well for me. Now with a new computer it no longer works at all. So I bought the premium adblock version. Ads are still appearing on youtube. Yes, I have done the the General and and advanced setting procedures as recommended. I hate the ads... Is adblock loosing the ad-war or em I missing something?

- Rated 1 out of 5by AN, 4 months agoIn general a nice add-on which does what it should, but as others said. The addon is frequently opening a new tab in foreground asking to donate or switch to paid version. I know no other addon (and there are very much great addons I use, that do not do this).

- Rated 2 out of 5by SICKS6SIX, 4 months agoit doesnt stop adverts on youtube or any of the other video content providers ive tried it with, what it does is this; often it opens another window and ask you for money so it doesnt open up that window in the future, the people who are giving this app 5* probably gave Ticktock 5* ratings as well. i gave it 2* becasue it was easy to uninstall, often these trype of money demanding apps are almost impossible to uninstall, so for that reason they get 2* from me,
