I'm stunned by how well this ad blocker works. I had been using AdBlock Plus for years, and appreciated what it did, although it became less and less useful as more web sites found ways to circumvent it. I tried AdBlocker Ultimate on a whim and wasn't expecting it to be any better than ABP, but WOW what a difference. So far it has worked on every web site I've thrown at it; I haven't had to whitelist a single web site yet. And the web sites all work perfectly; no broken features, no rendering problems. I really am amazed. Pages load so much more quickly. My 12 year old laptop feels like a brand new machine.

I have been using this blocker for years. I have never had any problems with it (bite me, YouTube!). Whenever I help family members or friends set up a new computer I always tell them to 1) install Firefox, 2)Install AdBlock, 3)never turn it off unless they absolutely trust the site.
This is the best ad blocker I have ever used and I have test driven several of the other blockers.
